The French Wine Festival will start on October 10

Cactus has announced that the 46th annual festival of French wine «Festival des Grands Vins de France» will take place on October 10-23. 571 different wines and champagnes will be presented to connoisseurs at the event.

This year, the festival will again feature tasting stands, allowing buyers to taste almost every wine with a few exclusive exceptions.

Tastings will take place in Cactus outlets in the Belle Etoile, Bascharage, Howald and Ingeldorf shopping galleries. Other Cactus stores will also participate in the Festival des Grands Vins de France based on the limits of available stocks.

Of the 571 wines and champagnes that will be presented to the public, 19 will be completely new. There will also be 117 certified organic wines presented. The focus is on wines from Bordeaux, including 21 wine from Languedoc and the Rhone Valley casked in 2020.

Wines from the Languedoc and Rhone include Domaine Raymond Usseglio & Fils’ organic white Châteauneuf-du-Pape and Côtes-du-Rhône La Résistance, an organic vegan red wine with no added sulfur.

Visitors will also have access to a wide selection of champagne, including brut from Maison Louis Roederer. What’s more, the Fonds de Cave collection, available only at Belle Etoile, awaits enthusiasts looking for exceptional bottles. Connoisseurs will be presented with a selection of 85 prestigious vintage bottles with a 25% discount. Due to limited stock, this selection will not be available for tasting.
