Luxembourg Art Week kicks off this weekend

On November 11-13, Luxembourg Art Week will be held in the capital. This is a large-scale exhibition dedicated to the contemporary art of the Grand Duchy and other countries. It has been held annually since 2015.

80 galleries will take part in the 8th Luxembourg Art Week. The exhibition space will be located on Glacis Square. there will also be an open space for discussions and panels. That promises to satisfy the cultural hunger, and as for physical hunger — two food trucks and a restaurant will operate for guests during the exhibition.

The exhibition and restaurant spaces will be decorated with monumental works by Adrien Vescovi.

The exhibition will be divided into three sections. The main exhibition will feature works by already well-known representatives of contemporary art. «Take Off» will promote young artists. Solo will allow galleries to highlight the work of a select few artists.

The exhibition will run according to a special schedule every day:

  • 11:00-18:00 Friday, November 11
  • 11:00-19:30 on Saturday, November 12
  • 10:30-19:30 Sunday, November 13
