Big changes await Luxembourg's companies in 2023

The main change that will affect all companies without exception is the reduction of VAT rates by 1%. This will not affect the ultra-low tax tariff of 3%. All other rates will be reduced to 16%, 13% and 7% respectively. This measure will last until December 31, 2023 and will be mandatory for everyone.

The second important aspect of the coming year will be a 3.2% increase in the minimum wage. For skilled workers, the new rate will be €2864.88 per month. For those unqualified - 2387.40 euros.

Also, the results of this year's tripartite meeting laid the foundation for two wage indexations by 2.5% each. However, experts believe that there may very well be three indexations in 2023. One at the start of the year, another one in the spring and the last one closer to the end of the year.
