In the first three months of 2025, we significantly increased our presence on all key platforms in Luxembourg, boosting reach and engagement with our followers. Here’s how we managed it using exclusively free promotion methods.
The total number of followers across our social media grew by a third, reaching 16,341 by the end of March 2025. The most explosive growth was seen on Instagram. One of the first videos on the new account went viral, garnering 454,000 views and 300 new followers, all from Luxembourg residents. Equally impressive was the growth on LinkedIn: from 2,215 in December to 4,011 in March.
Telegram, the platform where our project started and which we still consider the birthplace of Luxtoday, has shown steady growth in new readers, which we are undoubtedly proud of. On average, 75-100 new people subscribe each month, and the English version is growing even faster: in the last 4 months, the number of subscribers has increased by nearly 1,000, from 2,600 to 3,529. Additionally, our expat chat is very popular, with over 2,600 active users.
We haven't forgotten about Facebook, X, and YouTube: content on our pages is regularly updated, and the number of our loyal readers and viewers continues to grow, as does their engagement with the content. Thanks to this, we are confident that our news and articles are in demand on all platforms with completely different audiences, and we will continue to develop in these directions, keeping our dear subscribers informed with timely, reliable, and verified information. Let’s not forget our TikTok, which is regularly updated with new content. If you want to take a break from funny videos and learn something useful and interesting about Luxembourg, make sure to subscribe.
And a new addition this season: we launched our column on Reddit, which has been gaining incredible reach. Each post gathers between 20,000 and 40,000 readers, and we also created a channel on Viber. Right now, there are only a few regular readers, but we don’t plan to stop there and will continue to work on these platforms so that you always have a choice of where to read the latest news about Luxembourg and the world.
