His favourite views: "Language is much more than just words and grammar. I collect views on German from different places and eras and observe a complete panorama," says Denis. 1) Culinary recipes from the 15th century in Low German. Denis wrote his thesis on them at Moscow State University, and even tried some of them out in the kitchen. 2) The Viennese dialect, which, according to many Viennese, is the most sensual German dialect.
