Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra presents “The Secrets of the Castles”
From March 6 to 9, the Luxembourg Philharmonic Orchestra presents “The Secrets of the Castles” (D’Geheimnis vum Stau) — a musical performance in Luxembourgish designed for children aged 4 and above. Conceived and performed by Luxembourgish artists, this original production celebrates the country’s rich cultural heritage: a text by Marc Weydert, a leading figure in children’s literature and winner of the 2025 Luxembourg Book Prize; music by Ivan Boumans, a renowned composer on the national scene; and stage design inspired by Lake Esch-sur-Sûre. Set against a backdrop of folk legends, Luxembourgish history, and a gripping investigation, the performance will transport both children and adults to the very heart of the Grand Duchy, on an adventure where mystery, humor, and poetry intertwine.
