Runa Capital venture fund moves to Luxembourg

12 years after its founding, Runa Capital relocates its head office from the US to the Grand Duchy.

Runa Capital invests in software and deep tech startups. Now the company is launching its 4th fund, which has already attracted $55 million in investments. The fund’s first clients in Europe are Spanish startup Hubuc and French developer OneReplay.

It is still difficult to say whether the opening of the head office in Luxembourg will create new jobs. But such a possibility always remains. And the company did note that the director of the fund, Konstantin Vinogradov, now holds a partner’s position. He will be engaged in business development in Europe. It is likely that we can expect further growth of the investment network. And perhaps the fund will eventually join the top Luxembourg employers.
