On 19 November 2025, the OGBL union and the management of Mister Minit Luxembourg signed an extension of the collective agreement governing the working conditions of some 20 employees of the company specialising in shoe repair and key making. The agreement will be valid for two years, from 1 January 2025 to 31 December 2026.

The negotiations took place in a constructive and respectful atmosphere. At Mister Minit, the collective agreement has been in place for many years and is regularly reviewed, strengthening social guarantees for employees. The new version was a logical continuation of this process, confirming that the stability of the company is directly linked to respect for its staff.

Among the major improvements:

  • Raising compensation for travelling between home and work is an important step amid rising transport costs.
  • Increased per diem for food, which reduces the pressure of everyday spending.
  • Introduction of a new type of leave granted under certain conditions.
  • A new formula for calculating internal bonuses, fixed on more favourable terms for employees.
  • The right to "digital disconnection" is an article that regulates the boundaries of working time and provides a break from work contacts outside of working hours.
  • Regulatory protection against moral and sexual harassment and violence in the workplace is a separate clause in the contract, emphasising the company's commitment to creating a safe environment.

All of these measures are aimed at increasing purchasing power, improving work-life balance, and ensuring the psychological and physical safety of the team.
