A great fire near Christnach and Larochette

Late on July 24th a field caught fire near Christnach and Larochette. Ten fire brigades from across many different parts of Luxembourg arrived on the scene to put out the fire.

Firemen not only coped with the fire, but also evacuated the domestic animals that were still grazing on the field. Neither people nor animals were harmed.

Last Sunday was tense for firefighters. Earlier in the evening there was a fire in Beiren and another one in Merzig. Fortunately, no one was injured in these incidents.
