A renewed Mersch station will become a regional train point

The Mersch station platforms have already been widened to accommodate the upcoming new CFL trains. Workers installed a total of 270 additional meters, according to the construction company update.

The renovated Mersch station should open soon. It's not just the platforms that are being expanded: the train station is undergoing a real overhaul to become a major transportation hub in the region. The final touches will take place at the end of the month, and new information displays will appear.

By the middle of 2023, a new parking lot for 400 cars near the station will open. This way it will be more convenient for rail passengers to transfer.
