Cartoon clips have blown up the Luxembourg internet
Les Gars du Lux, a series of videos about two boys from Luxembourg, has become an Internet phenomenon over the past few weeks. With only 50 posts, the channel has already been viewed several hundred thousand times.
The creator of the characters, a forty-something Luxembourger who wishes to remain anonymous, has built a real community of more than 15,000 people on various social networks. The secret of their popularity is simple, yet difficult to implement: the characters discuss everyday life in the Grand Duchy and effectively mock it.
For example, a video about tobacco tourism in France has already been viewed 334,000 times. A sketch about frontier workers has a little less - 156,000. Less popular videos have around 100,000 views or less, but even this shows that the author has hit the mark with his jokes.
By the way, the author's first meeting with subscribers will take place on 5 July at the Lenox Club. In addition to the author, the programme promises performances by musicians and a pleasant chat between fans of the series.
