Children in Luxembourg. Choosing the right toys
The Luxembourg Institute for Standardization, Accreditation, Safety and Quality of Products and Services (ILNAS) is the competent authority in the field of toys’ safety. The Institute regularly conducts trade checks, as well as administrative and technical product reviews. ILNAS reports directly to the Minister of Economy.
Toys that comply with the law of December 15, 2010 are considered safe. But it’s clear that not everyone understands the intricacies of the law. And it’s the season to be merry, so parents need to prepare for the coming Christmas (not to mention birthdays). That’s why ILNAS has developed a guide to help you choose a safe gift that’s perfect for your child’s age.
The manual is in PDF format and is well presented. In addition, it can be downloaded online.
