Luxembourg-Germany trains not running until Monday
Luxembourg's national railway company, CFL, has issued an official statement confirming that the strike by the German GDL (Gewerkschaft Deutscher Lokomotivführer) has also affected the Grand Duchy's trains.
After canceling several trains the day before, the carrier added that trains cannot cross the border between the two countries until Monday, January 29.
Until normal service is restored on Tuesday, January 30, trains on the Luxembourg-Trier line will only run to Wasserbillig. The number of trips will also be reduced as trains and staff schedules are adjusted.
