Luxembourg lost to Northern Ireland in a soccer match

Last Thursday was the first match for the Luxembourg national team in the UEFA National Football League. The national team lost to the Northern Ireland team with a score of 2-0. The match took place at the Windsor Park Stadium in Belfast (Northern Ireland). The goals were scored in the 11th and 17th minutes of the match. At the beginning of the second half, when the hosts had the advantage, both teams made substitutions.

In general, according to the experts, the Luxembourg players had much more possession (60% of the time according to the official statistics), but Northern Ireland had more shots on goal (14 to 8) and corner kicks (10 to 2). This is Northern Ireland's second win of the tournament.

Luxembourg's next match is on Sunday, September 8th at home against Belarus at 15:00.
