Alnatura brand organic yeast is being taken off the supermarket shelves. A message came from the Cactus chain store that a foreign body — a piece of metal — was found in a pack of this yeast.

However, not all Alnatura yeast will disappear from stores. The batch in which metal was found has a barcode 4104420183995, and is best-before November 20, 2022. If you are buying or have already bought Alnatura organic yeast, check the barcode before cooking. Otherwise, you may find a surprise most unpleasant for your teeth and stomach in your baking products.
