Satellite operator SES reports revenue for the first half of the year
Satellite operator SES has published its financial results for the first half of 2022.
By June 30, the operator’s revenue amounted to 899 million euros. Compared to the same period last year, this is an increase of 2.8%. Including taxes, depreciation and other expenses, the company’s net income was 168 million, rising 11% over last year.
The company expects strong growth in the second half of the year as well. Not long ago SES became a part of several international actions and agreements. In May, the group signed a five-year contract with the US military for continued supply of satellite communications. In March 2022, the operator acquired an additional satellite and bought out an American defense satellite contractor.
