Two new bus routes are coming up between France and Luxembourg

The RGTR bus network will soon offer two new routes for cross-border passengers.

The final meeting on the project will take place on February 2nd in Thionville. Many cross-border commuters travel to Luxembourg on a daily basis. One of the goals of this novelty – is to reduce the car traffic load between France and the Grand Duchy by providing public transport.

From May 21, the 602 bus line will start operating, connecting the French commune of Val de Bray to Luxembourg (stop Cloche d'Or) via Avril, Trieux, Aumetz, Audun-le-Tiche, and Esch-sur-Alzette, allowing 14 round trips each day.

An additional line between Thionville and Esch-sur-Alzette is expected to open this summer.
