Luxembourg police have completed a major operation

On 11 December 2024, the Luxembourg police conducted a large-scale operation against drug crime in the areas of rue de Strasbourg, rue de Hollerich and rue de la Fonderie.
Results of surgery:
- 20 people were checked: seven were taken to the station for further proceedings.
- A small amount of drugs was found on several people.
- One of the detainees was a wanted man.
About 30 police officers from different units, including the canine service, took part in the operation.
Police continue to work hard to reduce crime in vulnerable areas of the capital, with a particular focus on community safety.
