Closure of the Burange junction on the A13

From Friday 19 September 2025 (8pm) to Monday morning 22 September (5am), the Burange junction on the A13 will be completely closed. The work is being carried out by the Administration des ponts et chaussées (Administration of Bridges and Highways) as part of a planned resurfacing and installation of new traffic lights.
A number of key areas will be closed for the duration of the works:
- N31 motorway between Bettembourg and Burange
- roundabout exits at the Burange interchange
- entrance to the A13 motorway towards Esch (Esch-sur-Alzette)
Motorists travelling towards Esch will have to use a diversion via the Kayl junction. And those who normally travel between Bettembourg and Burange on the N31 will be diverted via Noertzange and Huncherange.
Important: the entrance from the Burange junction to the A13 towards Schengen will remain open.
