Passengers planning journeys between Luxembourg and Belgium at the beginning of the week should be prepared for major disruptions: from 22:00 Monday 28 April to 22:00 Tuesday 29 April, employees of SNCB, Belgium's national railway company, will hold a planned strike.

This action will primarily affect interstate routes linking Luxembourg with Belgian cities. Flight cancellations, significant delays and reduced train frequencies are possible.

The Luxembourg railway operator CFL encourages all passengers to check the latest timetable just before departure. This can be done on the official website cfl.lu or via the CFL mobile app.

As the strike covers a full day and starts in the evening, it could affect both Monday evening flights and Tuesday morning flights - especially during peak hours. Passengers who need to travel to Belgium or return to Luxembourg should consider alternative routes or means of transport and adjust travel plans in advance.
