Luxembourg events for June 14-16

On June 14 and 15, 2024, the capital will celebrate Fête de la Musique in four outdoor venues. The events will take place on the Place d'Armes, the Place de la Constitution, the Grand-Rue and in the city park at the pirate ship playground. The program will start on Friday at the Place d'Armes from 15:00 to 20:15 and at the Place de la Constitution from 17:15 to 23:30. On Saturday, a show for children will start at 16:00 in the municipal park and a concert of the Luxembourg Chamber Orchestra and Choir will take place at the Place d'Armes from 10:20 to 21:40. On Friday, concerts will also be organized in different places with the support of the VdL.

A rugby festival organized by Terres Rouges Rugby Touch will take place in Dudelange on 15 and 16 June 2024. Seven teams from England, the Netherlands, Germany and Luxembourg will participate in this international tournament. The first day will be dedicated to competition and the second day to teaching Rugby Touch to the public. Special attention will be given to an exhibition match between a mixed team from the South of England and the Luxembourg men's national team. The event will be held at the J.F. Kennedy Stadium. Kennedy Stadium and is free to the public. The festival is supported by the Rugby Club de Luxembourg and Touch Lëtzebuerg.

The multicultural festival Fête de l'Amitié will take place in the Esperange municipal park, behind the new Civil Society Center. Musical groups (world music, folklore) will perform on stage and information booths of participating associations will be set up around them. Participants will be able to cook and sell food on site, and will be provided with two tables and two benches, as well as electricity.

The City of Luxembourg (VdL) is organizing the sports and cultural event Rencontres sans frontières at the Boy Konen sports complex in Sessange on Sunday, June 16, 2024, from 10:00 to 19:00. The event aims to celebrate cultural diversity and will include sports workshops, traditional music and dance, children's entertainment and cooking booths with dishes from around the world. The program includes soccer and beach volleyball tournaments, cycling activities and more.
