In the annual ranking of passports from Henley & Partners, which evaluates the possibility of visa-free entry, the Luxembourg passport confidently took 4th place, as it did a year earlier. Holders of this document can visit 191 countries without a visa out of a possible 227. Luxembourg shares this position with such countries as Austria, Denmark, the Netherlands, Ireland, Norway and Sweden.

In 2025, Singapore tops the list with access to 195 countries, overtaking Japan, which is now in second place with 193 destinations. In third position are France, Germany, Italy, South Korea and Italy (192 countries). The Belgian passport lost one position and is now in 5th place with access to 190 destinations.

The US, which was among the leaders back in 2014, has now fallen to 9th place with 186 destinations. On the contrary, the Chinese passport is gradually strengthening its position, although it still remains in 60th place and allows access to only 85 countries without a visa.

The only country outside Europe to make the top 10 was the United Arab Emirates, ranked 10th. Since 2015, their passport has become more attractive, giving access to 72 more new destinations.
