The price of the deal is said to be 410 million euros. B Medical Systems rose to prominence during the pandemic due to its strides in vaccine storage and distribution technologies.
The company’s three main product lines are vaccine refrigerators, medical refrigerators and blood transfusion equipment. B Medical Systems’ freezers store vaccines, cells and other laboratory samples at ultra-low temperatures down to -86°C.
The company has more than 200 employees and its products are used in approximately 150 countries. By prior agreement, CEO Luc Provost and his deputy, Jesal Doshi, will continue to lead B Medical Systems’ Luxembourg office.
