Europe's only electric car factory evacuated all employees on Tuesday morning, March 5. The reason for the decision was the fire of a power line support. At some point, the fire was threatening to spread, and the factory itself was without power, as were all nearby buildings.

The fire was eventually brought under control, but the pole itself and several high-voltage cables were completely destroyed. It will take some time to restore the power. Authorized services are already conducting an investigation, as one of the main versions is arson. It should be noted that such acts of sabotage are punished very seriously in Germany.

However, the police and the investigators urge not to jump to conclusions, especially in the sabotage version. The fact is that about 100 activists have now set up a camp in a nearby forest to protest against the expansion of the plant. Of course, they deny their involvement in the arson, and the investigation can neither confirm nor deny these words.
