Summer is drawing to a close

At the start of the week, a high of 31°C was recorded in Luxembourg, continuing the warm spell seen at the end of last week. However, from Tuesday onwards, weather conditions in the country will change significantly, and daytime temperatures will not exceed 22°C for the rest of the week.

A change in weather conditions will bring rainfall. According to Meteolux, light rain is expected on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday. However, the moderately warm weather will only last until Tuesday evening, after which temperatures will begin to fall rapidly.

The most noticeable drop in temperature is forecast for the night and early morning. On Wednesday morning, temperatures will fall to 10°C, and on Thursday they will reach the week’s lowest point of 7°C. On Friday, morning temperatures will range from 8°C to 10°C, signalling the effective end of the summer season.
