Luxembourg is ready for Expo 2025

At the Osaka World Expo 2025, Luxembourg will present a diverse programme showcasing the country's creative achievements. From architecture and music to textile art and photography, the Luxembourg Pavilion will be a platform for intercultural exchange, bringing together European and Japanese traditions.
Minister of Culture Eric Thill emphasised that Expo 2025 is a unique opportunity to showcase Luxembourg's creativity on the world stage. According to him, the expo will showcase the dynamism of Luxembourg's cultural scene, promoting dialogue between tradition and innovation.
The programme was developed in cooperation with Kultur | lx and GIE Luxembourg@Expo2025Osaka and has been allocated €600,000. Funding is provided by public and private partners, including the Ministry of Culture and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
Permanent elements of the pavilion
- Architecture: the Luxembourg Pavilion was designed by Atelier d'architecture STDM according to the principles of circularity, combining sustainable technology and eco-friendly design.
- Music: composer Claude Zeimes has created a sound atmosphere for the pavilion that will accompany the exhibition throughout.
- Design: Julie Conrad, Christophe de la Fontaine, Frank Michels and Georges Zigrand designed the furniture solutions for the VIP areas of the pavilion.
