Minister of Health and Social Welfare Martine Deprez announced that a new health centre will be built in Ettelbruck. It will replace the existing Maison médicale du Nord and provide the region's residents with better access to health services.

The new clinic will be located at the entrance to the city, providing convenient transport links and facilitating access to care for patients. The concept is based on the successful Maison médicale de Sud-Belval model, which has already proven its effectiveness in the region.

The clinic will be 700 m² in size and will feature two reception areas, each with a reception desk, a comfortable waiting area and four consulting rooms. The building will also include staff facilities, including a break room and changing rooms.

The facility will offer a wide range of medical services. GPs will be available on weekday evenings from 20:00 to midnight and from 08:00 to 00:00 on weekends and public holidays. The clinic will offer diagnostic and health monitoring services, including orthoptic and audiological examinations and tests for hereditary hypercholesterolaemia. In addition, a blood donation centre will open here in cooperation with the Luxembourg Red Cross.
