In October, Luxembourg will be a hotspot for European experts in the field of medicine and technology: On the 7th and 8th, Healthcare Week Luxembourg (HWL), a large-scale fair and conference initiated by the Federation of Hospitals of Luxembourg (Fédération des hôpitaux luxembourgeois), will take place at Luxexpo The Box. The main theme for 2025 is the impact of artificial intelligence on healthcare.
The event will bring together executives from hospitals, startups, government agencies, research centres, IT directors, HR managers and industry representatives. For Luxembourg, which is actively developing its healthtech sector, HWL is becoming not just a showcase of innovations, but a platform for cooperation and building new standards of medical care.
The Luxinnovation agency's exhibition stand, under the motto "Connecting healthtech innovation", will feature 12 cutting-edge organisations demonstrating solutions in five key areas:
- Digital Medical Devices: AiMediq, Data Design Engineering, IEE, PsyTech VR, Sportmed, Telemis
- Healthcare software: CareIT, Esklepios, Logipharm
- Medical Data Management: NTT DATA Luxembourg
- Medical equipment manufacturing: Astel Medica
- Innovation ecosystem: HE:AL Campus, Luxinnovation
Each of these companies offers practice-oriented solutions, from VR platforms in mental health to optimising drug logistics and advanced biomedical data collection. Luxinnovation experts will accompany visitors to help build business connections and find relevant solutions.
In addition, an updated map of Luxembourg's healthtech ecosystem will be presented - an analytical overview created in partnership with the Ministry of Economy. It provides an overview of the industry, growth and specialisation of companies that influence the country's medical future.
