Attention drivers: beware of hitchhikers!

In Luxembourg, police are searching for two suspects who attempted to blow up an ATM in the Kayl-Tétange neighbourhood. The incident took place at night, after which the perpetrators fled the scene. They are currently on the run and police are actively searching for them.
Authorities have closed the main road in Caile and a police helicopter is on the scene to help survey the area. Residents and visitors to Kyle, Tetange and Rumelange are asked not to pick up hitchhikers and to report suspicious persons immediately to the emergency number 113.
For the time being, the supermarket in the area of the incident remains open, but access to the car park is temporarily impossible due to road closures. Police are asking local residents to remain vigilant and avoid travelling through the area of the operation.
