Elusive thieves robbed cash collectors in Luxembourg

A major theft occurred at a petrol station in Leudelange at around 14:00 on Monday. According to police, unknown persons broke the window of a cash collection van and stole a suitcase containing cash.
Officially, the amount of damage is not disclosed, but according to preliminary reports, the amount stolen is significant. Immediately after the crime, an operation was launched to find the perpetrators, but as of Tuesday morning, police had no new information about the robbers' whereabouts.
The investigation is trying to find out whether the robbery was planned in advance or whether the criminals simply took advantage of a lucky break. For now, the robbers remain at large and the police are still investigating.
