Major fire in Hautcharage: the roof of a house burned to the ground, one person injured

A massive fire broke out in an apartment building in Hautcharage on Thursday night. According to CGDIS, when rescuers arrived at the scene, the roof of the building was already completely engulfed in flames.
Forty firefighters were mobilised to fight the blaze, which took several hours to extinguish. Despite the scale of the fire, casualties were avoided - one person suffered minor injuries.
The fire was fully localised by 10am Friday morning, after which rescue crews left the scene. The causes of the fire have not yet been specified.
