A list of the most in-demand skills in 2024 has been compiled and published on the Upwork platform. Most commonly, companies need:
- Developers of different levels and skill sets - up to 190 dollars per hour on Upwork;
- Accountants - up to 125 dollars per hour on Upwork;
- Marketing specialists - up to 180 dollars per hour on Upwork;
- Designers - up to 150 dollars per hour on Upwork;
Many of these professions are considered to be in demand in Luxembourg. This includes almost all professions related to development and analysis. These are: mathematicians and statisticians, systems analysts, software, web and multimedia developers, software engineers, database designers and administrators as well as system administrators and computer network specialists. For scarce professions, the procedure for obtaining a certificate from ADEM has been simplified.
It should be noted that one of the most popular ways to move to Luxembourg remains the Blue Card. However, in order to obtain it, the minimum salary level of 84,780 euros per year must be exceeded. At the same time, for a number of rare professions, the limit is much lower: 67,824 euros per year.
