Unemployment level in Luxembourg remains at 4.7%

Unemployment data was provided by the National Employment Agency (ADEM).

According to ADEM statistics, the unemployment rate remains quite low — only 4.7%. This is 15.2% lower than in July of the last year. Now the agency has 14 259 registered applicants actively looking for work.

The number of applicants has decreased in all categories except for one. New registrations (less than 4 months since the date of application) have increased by 6.9%. At the same time, there is an unprecedented increase in vacancies in Luxembourg. According to ADEM, the number of job offers has increased by 13.9% compared to 2021.
