The MeteoLux weather service has announced an orange danger level for the whole country from 6am Wednesday morning to 6am Thursday morning. During this period, continuous rain is expected, with volumes of 40 to 60 litres/m², and in some places even up to 70 litres/m².

An orange danger level could mean flooding across the country, especially in areas marked on maps as potentially dangerous. Roads may also be affected during the weather warning. Drivers are advised to avoid travelling in waterlogged areas due to the risk of aqua planning.

Residents in the flood risk area should protect themselves and their property by closing windows on lower floors that are prone to flooding. The use of sandbags is recommended if necessary.
