Delhaize chicken may contain salmonella

Delhaize is once again recalling its products from the shelves. The chicken burger patties and chicken calzone may be contaminated with salmonella, the manufacturer announced.

Anyone who has purchased the suspected salmonella products should under no circumstances eat them and must seek medical advice if they did. Any resident of the country who purchased products with the appropriate labeling is entitled to full reimbursement of costs.

Now Delhaize has already removed the dangerous chicken from all retail outlets. The company has also promised to tighten supplier inspections and conduct additional research.
