Europe Avenue opens for traffic today

Europe Avenue was repaired a week earlier than planned. Repair work was supposed to go until the end of August. But the section of the N830 road from the football field in Pétange to the Jardinerie interchange will be opened today, August 24, at 16:00.

On this stretch, Europe Avenue has been structurally unstable since its opening in 2020. It was already closed from January to March for the first phase of renovation. Now the work is finally completed. This greatly simplifies the life of cross-border workers and travelers from France and Belgium. They often pass through this corner between the three countries’ borders.
