Luxembourg-based child development startup recognized at MIT Solve

The name of this startup is Magrid. And it offers a program for the development of mathematical abilities without language restrictions.

One of the startup’s key advantages was its independence from verbal communication. Educational material is presented as visual instructions easily understood and usable by any child.

This can, of course, help children with autism, dyslexia, hearing impairment. In addition, the methodology will be useful for immigrant children, since they don’t need to know the language to understand the tasks.

Now Magrid is integrated in all Luxembourg public schools. The next step for the promising startup is to expand into other markets.

Magrid was the only startup from Luxembourg to reach the final stage of the MIT Solve competition. In total there were 1100 applicants. While Magrid didn’t win any of the MIT’s 11 special prizes, the recognition of the educational giant will definitely give the project momentum.
