Luxembourg set a new temperature record

The average temperature for September was 17.6°C. Breaking the previous record set in 2006, it was the hottest ninth month since 1947.

September 11 was the hottest day. The temperature reached almost 30 degrees — 29.8°C. However, even this value could not beat the level of 2020. The hottest day in September was September 15: up to 32.2°C.

Of course, the temperature will decrease as winter approaches, but even the beginning of October will be surprisingly warm. Forecasters predict a stable temperature of about 20 degrees Celsius until the weekend.
