Luxembourgish dictionary now available as a smartphone app

The Luxembourgish online dictionary (LOD) was launched 5 months ago. During this time, it scored more than 4 million user searches. Most of the traffic came from mobile devices. Therefore, the creators of the resource have developed an official mobile application.

It has a clear structure, excellent interface and simple navigation. The words are classified into categories. Advanced search will make it easier to choose words to keep the conversation going. Right now the application already has 32 000 dictionary entries, 35 000 described meanings, 173 000 translations, 54 000 examples and 10 000 synonyms.

When creating the application, numerous reviews and user wishes were taken into account, so now it is already close to ideal. In addition, it loads faster than the site. The word bases are the same for both. So users can be sure that they always have the latest and most accurate selection of translations at their fingertips.
