Meet and chat with neighbors through a new app

Luxembourg City is a service that helps you find conversation partners among your neighbors. To do this, just enter your address. The system will automatically find everyone who lives nearby.

You can turn to neighbors for various reasons. Borrow a screwdriver. Find a volunteer dogsitter for an hour or two. Organize a joint trip or a picnic. The City app was developed by the Belgian tech startup Hoplr, who have previously created a similar social network app in their home country.

The app is already released in Luxembourg. It’s completely free. The Luxembourg City Council is planning an information session on October 4 to inform all citizens about this new opportunity.
