Mullerthal visited by 88 000 tourists in six months

The Mullerthal tourist area has fully returned to pre-pandemic tourism levels in just six months of operation. During this time, «Little Switzerland» conducted 151 guided tours for more than 3 thousand guests. The figure is already higher than for the entire last year. And in just six months, about 88,000 tourists walked along the Mullerthal trails.

The tourism peaked in April, May and June so far. Mullerthal is especially popular with Luxembourg schools, which often bring their students here for hikes. In July and August, the campsites in the tourist area have also offered various activities to guests. Bingo, craft classes, night walks with a homemade lantern — all this entertainment was also popular among tourists. 2 960 people took part in the fun, almost a quarter more than last year.

Due to its increased popularity, Mullerthal even hired new employees. This year, 70 students work in the tourist offices of the region.
