New school for refugee children in European Investment Bank building
On September 26, the Ministry of Finance, the Ministry of Education and the EIB inaugurated the new school. 80 children of refugees from across the globe will study here.
The bank building is located in Kirchberg. It’s been transferred into the care of the Ministry of Education. So far, the school offers only primary education. Children are divided into 8 classes.
Education Minister Claude Meish is confident that the new school will be «an investment in the integration of young people and in their future prospects.»
