New service to help parents battling cancer
The Cancer Foundation, Europa Donna Luxembourg and the charity group Arcus have collaborated to create a new service that help families manage everyday life. Parents who are battling cancer should be supported, especially in childcare.
Any parent of a child under 13 living and undergoing treatment in Luxembourg can contact this service free of charge. Its employees will help with household chores, repairs and cooking as well as many other household chores. They can babysit and help children with homework, if necessary. Such an assistant can work with a family for up to 8 hours a day. Support for those who apply will be provided for up to three months.
You can apply for the new service by sending an email to found@cancer.lu or by calling the Cancer Foundation: 45 30 331.
