Non-profit organizations registered in Esch-sur-Alzette can receive up to 2,000 euros in aid
Esch-sur-Alzette and its 12 sister cities decided to provide 20 000 euros in grants for non-profit organizations. The focus is on strengthening cultural relations between cities, sports, youth programs, care for the elderly, sustainable development programs and the protection of human rights.
Organizations from Esch-sur-Alzette that work in these areas can apply for 2000 euros in funding. Assistance cannot be received by commercial, political and tourism organizations.
The leadership of the cities hopes that this measure will strengthen ties between them, spread best city development practices and unite people.
To participate, an organization registered in Esch-sur-Alzette must send an application by e-mail to jumelages@villeesch.lu or by regular mail to Ville d’Esch-sur-Alzette – Département de la politique transfrontalière, des jumelages et des affaires européennes — BP 145 — L-4002 Esch-sur-Alzette. Applications are accepted until November 14th.
