Permits for renewable energy units will be granted faster

The EU regulation of December 22 introduced time limitations on the review of applications. Municipalities must now respond within three months. A lack of response will be considered permission.

Such rules apply to both the installation of the photovoltaic panels themselves and the energy storage. For installations not exceeding 50 kilowatts, the time limit for a permit is one month.

However, in the case of a request concerning monuments and protected areas, time limits for approval do not apply.
