The Red Cross is looking for Luxembourgers ready to provide homeless with housing

1500 people in Luxembourg live in social housing for the homeless provided by the Red Cross. But now there is not enough space in this housing to meet the needs of the country. Instability in the world is growing, there are more refugees and people without a roof over their heads. Now the organization is looking for owners of housing — apartments and private houses — who are ready to accept people without shelter.

This is not strictly charity: the homeowners will be given a classic lease contract or a refund through the Social Rent Office. Contracts are supposed to be signed for at least a year in order to provide homeless people with housing for a long period of time.

For Luxembourgers, who actively supported Ukraine and Ukrainian refugees, this is a great opportunity to help those in need without overburdening their own budget.
