University of Luxembourg prepared new curricula
The country's main university wants to keep up with modern trends and better meet the needs of the Luxembourg job market. As of September 16, several bachelor's and master's degree programs will be launched within the institution.
In the new academic year, students will be able to study nursing. This is a particularly urgent problem because about 70% of all nurses in Luxembourg are expatriates and cross-border workers. This means that any disruption to transport will jeopardize the health system. In addition, Luxembourg has long talked about the need to develop its own human resources in order to stop depending on its neighbors.
In the field of IT, two master's programs will be launched at the same time. The first will be dedicated to cyber security and cyber defense. It will train specialists to ensure the security of data and network storage. The second one is unique. It is the first training course in the EU in the field of digital and public history.
Three other specializations will be available in pedagogy. They will be educational development, inclusive education and school development management. All three specializations will be master's degrees.
