Wild boar causes traffic jam on A7 in Luxembourg

There have been reports of a wild boar in the Grouft Tunnel. Eyewitnesses reported seeing a pig inside the structure. A short time later, people reported that another animal was outside looking for a way out from behind the fence.

No one could say for sure if the reports were of the same boar or different animals. The tunnel was closed for the safety of the animals and motorists, causing a traffic jam.

A similar incident occurred a few years ago. In 2018, at almost the same time, on November 23, a whole herd of wild boars came out on the road.
