Will a farm be built in Kirchberg?
That's what the Kirchberg Foundation had in mind when they placed an unusual advertisement. The business district of the capital is looking for a developer to create an authentic mini-farm within the city.
The main objectives of-an agricultural complex will be:
- food production;
- future urban development;
- green space maintenance;
- entertainment services;
- information and education;
- and many others.
The farm will appear in the new Kuebebierg district and will take the space of 5 hectares. It is supposed to become a center for crop production and small livestock farming to provide the neighborhood with the necessary products. It is an innovative approach to the concept of housing, based on the principles of a circular economy.
