Wolves in Luxembourg interfere with hunters

Recently, Luxembourgish hunters returned from the Central Ardennes without prey. Presumably, the game was scared away by wolves.

Officially, wolves were not spotted in Luxembourg. But several people have already seen these predators.

A failed hunt is not just a disappointment. It brings losses to hunters and land owners. If wolves really settled in Luxembourg, sooner or later the problem will have to be solved. Though it will not be possible to solve it directly: in Europe wolf is a protected species which cannot be hunted down legally.
